What Is Microlift?
Microlift is an advanced, minimally invasive laser treatment that uses an optical fiber emitting laser energy at a wavelength of 1470 nanometers (commonly referred to as 1400 nm range) to tighten and remodel the skin from within.
The laser energy works by stimulating collagen production, contracting tissue, and improving skin elasticity all without surgery or downtime.
Although the treatment is new in aesthetic dermatology, the same laser wavelength and fiber-optic delivery system have been safely used for years in medical fields such as gastrointestinal surgeries.
Microlift vs Endolift: What’s the Difference?
Both Microlift and Endolift use identical laser technology the same wavelength, the same depth of energy delivery, and the same biological mechanism.
The key difference lies only in the device branding and consumable cost.
How the Treatment Works

1. Microfiber Insertion:
A fine, flexible optical fiber (about the thickness of a hair strand) is inserted just below the skin surface.
2. Laser Energy Delivery:
The laser emits 1470 nm wavelength energy, which selectively heats the dermal layer, triggering collagen contraction and new collagen synthesis.
3. Tissue Tightening & Lifting:
This leads to progressive skin tightening, contouring, and lifting in the treated area over the next several weeks to months.
Treatment Areas
Microlift can effectively treat:
• Jawline definition and double chin
• Mid-face sagging and nasolabial folds
• Lower face contouring
• Neck tightening
• Under-eye laxity
• Mild to moderate skin laxity on body areas (arms, knees, abdomen)
What to Expect
Procedure time: 30–60 minutes
Anesthesia: Topical or local anesthesia for comfort
Downtime: Minimal to none (mild swelling or redness may occur for 1–2 days)
Results: Gradual, natural-looking skin tightening over 3–6 months
Maintenance: Once every 12–18 months depending on individual skin condition
